Dr. Difei Yang is an executive with over twelve years of Wall Street experience and eighteen years of operational leadership across Biotech, Pharma, and MedTech. She currently serves as Managing Director at Alcioun Capital, advising corporate clients and investors on strategy, business development, and capital raises, while also functioning as CBO/CFO for Chinese biotech startups. Previously, she was COO & CFO at Kanglin Bio, where she raised $30 million in Series A funding. Earlier, she spent over a decade as Managing Director and Senior Biotech Equity Analyst at Mizuho America and Brean Capital, covering gene therapy, oncology, immunology, CNS, metabolic and rare diseases, with deep capital markets expertise. She began her career in R&D and advanced through multiple functions at several Fortune 500 companies, including Becton Dickinson, Solvay Pharmaceuticals (now AbbVie), and Kimberly-Clark, where she led cross-functional global teams.
Dr. Yang holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UCLA, an MBA from Georgia State University, and a B.Sc. in Physics from Peking University.
Dr. Yang currently serves as a part-time CFO of Rezubio.
